At Exeter Phoenix, for the next month or so, visitors to local artist Paul Magee’s exhibition Planet Elsewhere will be able to see the universe, in every direction, at once. Fans of science or art, or indeed both, should not miss this.
Created through the Phoenix’s 2011 Digital Art comission, the ambition of the work is to allow its viewers to look out into space in any direction, seeing it from a new and unique viewpoint. Not only does that sound awesome, but it’s free, so there is literally no reason why you wouldn’t want to check this out.
There’s even a talk on the 3rd of December with the man himself, and an informal tour on the 30th.
Have a great day (7), and see you there.

If you’re a fan of Hallowe’en, and doing it in style, then check out the Exeter Zombie Walk 2011. On the 29th October, a few hundred (!) people dressed as zombies will be meandering through the streets, feasting on your brains. And you can join in!
Run by Phonic FM, this event looks like it’s going to be a lot of fun, and pretty simple to get involved with too. Just turn up at the upper bus station car park, behind Peacocks Exeter, at around 14.30 to get dressed and prepared. It’s free and anybody can join in, so there’s no reason not to, really. The walk will take around an hour, finishing at the Phoenix where the Zombie Ball will be taking place (an evening of music which will cost a little bit, unfortunately).
So if you can’t wait until Hallowe’en, or just like dressing as a zombie with hundreds of people who are also dressed as zombies, check out the Exeter Zombie Walk.
